Martin Yale Industries (MYI) warrants all machines sold under MYI brands for 1-year on parts and 90-days on labor, excluding MY Office Products (MYOP). MYOP General Warranty is 180-days parts and labor. For limited, product-specific exceptions, see “Exclusions & Exceptions.” Warranty is effective from the date of shipment from the MYI warehouse and affirms all component parts and workmanship of MYI products to be free of manufacturing defects.
MYI will repair or replace any component part found to be defective within the warranty period, not caused by accident, misuse, or improper maintenance, damages by freight handlers, act of nature or unauthorized modifications or the use of other than MYI components/parts. MYI reserves the right to repair or replace at our discretion all finishing products that are covered under warranty.
Warranty Claims Process
Warranty is conditioned on notification to MYI’s Customer Service Department by contacting email@example.com. All materials being returned for warranty approval must have a requested Return Materials Authorization number (RMA) from our Customer Service Department, and must be returned within thirty (30) days after the discovery of the defect. All shipping costs on the returned material must be prepaid by the customer. If the item proves to be defective, a credit will be issued, including the cost of ground freight (for charges in the continental US only). Incoming cartons must be clearly marked on the outside with the RMA number and the “Warranty Parts.” MYI is not responsible for products that are returned and are not in their original packaging or are packaged insufficiently to protect the enclosed material.
Exclusions & Exceptions
Excluded from warranty coverage are all wearable and consumable items. These items are not included for consideration unless the components are deemed defective. Count printhead warranty is 90-days parts and labor. Postmark printhead warranty is until usage of 4 liters of ink per printbar per color OR 0.3 liters of ink per die per color, whichever comes first.
Warranties for International Customers covers parts only. Labor shall be the responsibility of the international customer.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, implied, statutory or otherwise. MYI makes no warranty of use-case of any product, for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, any consequential or incidental damages of any kind, including, but not limited to lost profits or other economic injury are not warranted.
A. This warranty applies to current models only. For discontinued models, contact Customer Support.
B. All repairs must be pre-approved by MYI and performed by an authorized dealer or MYI technician.
C. Extended warranties are subject to the same provisions and terms of the general warranty.
D. To the extent permitted by law, any consequential or incidental damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost profits or other economic injury not warranted.
E. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, implied and statutory or otherwise and is subject to change without notice.
F. Must have proof of purchase to claim warranty.
G. Labor portion of the warranty ONLY available in the Continental US.
