Extended Warranty

 

Option 1: Parts & Labor

Must buy all covered years at time of purchase of the unit.
Option 1 is a complete one-year, two-year, or three-year extension of Dry-Lam’s initial warranty policy which states:

Dry-Lam of Martin Yale Industries (MYI) warrants all component parts of its products to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 180 days from the date of purchase by the end user, which is at the point the extended warranty would take effect.

This extended warranty option also covers labor incurred or performed by the service dealer to replace defective components. This warranty does not cover wearable and consumable parts such as knives, cuttings sticks, belts, blocks, rubber rollers, etc…

MYI will repair or replace any component part found to be defective within the warranty period, not caused by accident, misuse, or improper maintenance, if returned to our factory, transportation charges are prepaid. It is MYI’s prerogative to have the warrantied machine factory or field repaired.

If you believe you have a warranty claim, contact MYI for a Return Goods Authorization. MYI will not be responsible for any charges incurred without its specific authorization. Warranty parts will be invoiced, including freight. Upon return of the alleged defective part, credit will be issued, including the cost of ground freight, if the part proves to be defective.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express, implied, statutory or otherwise. MYI makes no warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, any consequential or incidental damages of any kind, including, but not limited to lost profits or other economic injury are not warranted.

Option 2: Parts Only (Dealers Only)

Must buy all covered years at time of purchase of the unit.
Option 2 is a one-year, two-year, or three-year extension of Dry-Lam’s initial warranty policy replacing parts only (available to Dry-Lam dealers only).
